I like these small projectors to use for multiple purposes, particularly for holiday animation. I was very impressed with this projector straight out of the box. It was well packaged for transport inside of a Styrofoam box then a cardboards box. I really like the snap-on lens cap. That is something I haven’t seen before with the smaller projectors. Included is a stretchable, washable screen 80” screen (approx. 70” x 40”), HDMI to HDMI cable approx. 5-foot, power cord, lens cleaning kit, remote control (takes 2 AAA batteries). The unit powered right up to the home screen which is colorful and easy to navigate. I didn’t have any AAA batteries handy, so I used the buttons on top of the unit. A quick section of Movie then the source button (USB, HDMI, Mini SD card) and we were running. The projection is good for about 16 feet with no issues. Another feature I haven’t seen at this level is the Keystone Correction to correct the screen distortion of an unlevel projector. The unit ran very quietly, and the audio quality was good. One may want to add a larger speaker for better quality and there is an option to Bluetooth to a speaker. I did my test in a normal lit room at night and was impressed with the video quality displayed on the wall, quietness of the unit itself and ease of set-up. Overall, I’m very pleased with this little guy. It won’t replace a big expensive projector for throw distance, but at this price point and with the features and quality of the unit, you can’t go wrong. As an added test, I used a Lightning-to-HDMI adapter to my iPad, it worked with no issues. However, the adapter itself is limited and will not transmit content from most of the paid streaming services due to HDCP. Next, I’m going to try adding a Roku USB and playing my paid streaming content through the projector. With a carrying case and a USB Roku stick this would be a fantastic travel projector to take on vacation or trips. Small, lightweight and portable.

I am seriously impressed with this projector ngl The picture quality is super clear, the colors are vibrant, and it works perfectly even in a dim room. Setup was fast and easy I had it up and running in minutes. I connected it to my phone using a simple HDMI adapter, and it played movies and shows without any issues. The built in speaker is surprisingly good too, but I also hooked it up to a Bluetooth speaker for an even better experience.

Edit – Two Week Update:
I’ve had this product for a couple weeks now and continue to be impressed with the visual quality of the projector. Further the seller reached out to me to assist with app support I had, which clears up the criticism I had about its app capabilities.
Regarding the Netflix audio issue, I found out if you switch the audio settings from “English [Original] (5.1) Dolby” or “(5.1)” to just “English [Original]”, my audio works fine again. If anyone else has that issue that should fix it.
Original Review:
The visual qualities of this product are solid. The projection looks bright and clear in my room even if it’s not pitch black. At a distance of 11 feet or so, the clarity is good.
The ability to adjust the edges of the screen is fantastic, and the sound quality from the projector is decent enough.
I am impressed with the visual quality. However, the rest of this device I have found lacking. The projector has a fan that is decently loud. It’s not super noticeable when something is playing but it is loud when the room is silent. I can overlook that easily enough.
What is less acceptable is the app features. Netflix, Prime, and YouTube are installed, with some other odds and ends. You can then add Hulu and Disney+. Yet these added apps act more like a browser than an app so scrolling through them is slightly more annoying, but okay. Yet the dozens of other apps are things you’ve never heard of.
They are lacking some major apps that most people use for streaming and then you can’t cast them from your phone because of “copyright issues”. So good luck streaming from Crunchyroll or Max because there are no apps and it won’t let you cast. (These issues have been corrected for me as noted in the update)
Further, and this is admittedly weird and maybe not an issue of the product, Netflix will open and play previews and everything else with sound, but as soon as you select a title the sound is gone. No idea why. (I found a solution to this – mentioned in edit above).
I paid more for this product with app support for the ease of use but the app support is lacking. Maybe with a fire stick or other smart app stick plugged into the projector would solve that but then that defeats the purpose of buying the app supported version.

Quick and simple review for this portable projector:
– Setup is straightforward, and it connects easily to Bluetooth speakers, which is a big plus for sound without extra cables.

– The built-in speaker volume is enough, but if you want better sound quality, connecting to external Bluetooth speakers is recommended since the built-in audio can sound muffled sometimes.
Overall, this projector offers excellent value, competing with pricier models, and is ideal if you want a portable, easy to use home cinema setup without breaking the bank.

This is a great projector packed in a small machine. Setup is easy; just plug it in and hit the power button to see the menu. The pictures show what’s included, a shot of the image in low light and one with the ceiling light on. The video quality is exceptionally good for an inexpensive projector. The fan sound is noticeable but once audio begins, the fan noise is drowned out unless you happen to be sitting right next to it. There is Bluetooth capability for audio devices, and you can use TF, HDMI, or USB to connect your laptop. A white material screen came with this to be used on darker walls or outside. The remote has all the functions you need to operate the projector except to focus which is done manually. The size and easy setup makes this easy to move from room to room and I expect it to get lots of use for kids parties and during football season. I plan to purchase another as a gift because it works so well and is affordable.

I really like this new upgraded version of this projector. It is about 3/4 the size of my old projector. It easy could project bigger than my old one. I also really like how the hdmi and power ports are on the side so it can be butted up to the wall unlike my old one who’s power cord connected on the back it made it want to swivel on the wall mount I have. The design seems really well thought out. It takes less than 5 minutes to get it set up and going it’s so easy. I hooked it up to my Apple TV and was watching movies in no time! There is also a usb port so you can charge your phone or plug on a fire stick. You could also hook up a computer to it. The connectivity options are expansive. This is a highly functional piece of equipment and it is fairly priced 5/5 would recommend.

I’m so happy to have found this projector! I originally bought it to help with crafts – tracing my Canva creations on a banner before painting. But once I took it out of the box my kids were so excited for movie nights and hooking up the Nintendo Switch to it to play on the big screen. We’ve already watched tons of movies and have plans for outdoor movie nights this summer. I’m so pleased! The price was great and it is super easy to set up. I bought this because it was so cheap. It’s like having a portable big screen TV. I take it when I travel to SE Asia. IT HAS TO BE USED IN COMPLETE DARKNESS to fully enjoy. The picture quality is enjoyable. Is it HD ? No way, but it’s enjoyable in a dark room. I hooked it up to a cheap blue tooth speaker and it worked great. VERY limited formats you can watch on a USB drive but I have a media player that I use ( that supports a bunch of formats ) that work great in conjunction with it. The USB drives get plugged in to media player and it gets plugged into the projector.
UPDATE 5 months later…..
I received an email from TMY asking if they can have my address so they can ship me a NEW version of the projector since I only gave it 3 stars. Replacement is free of charge and she said I don’t have to return the old one. I thought it was a scam but after I gave my address 2 days later the new one came. It’s a little bigger unit. Much brighter and seems to be better resolution also. I think it’s native 1080 instead of 720 like the old one. Now I got 2 projectors. I will still travel with the older one because it’s smaller and the new one will be just for home use.

Easy setup, good color quality and sharp images. The projector’s Bluetooth only connects to speakers and I recommend connecting a Bluetooth speaker for way better sound. It’s great in a dark room or when it’s completely dark outside. It comes with a remote that takes two AAA batteries (not included) and a projector screen that you can use with the included command hooks. Hdmi cord and lens cleaning cloth are also included. I ordered separately a Lightning to HDMI Adapter for iPhone (around $10) to be able to stream movies from the phone.
Also customer service is fast and responsive if you have a questions. Great little projector for the price!

Nice lightweight projector, it is easy to use and has really nice video quality. I use this in my bedroom so I can watch movies in the comfort of my bed. It’s like an convenient and portable tv that doesn’t take up space. I will say though, the projection gets a little blurry on the edges but it’s still clear for the most part. I use this with my Roku stick and it’s a simple setup that just works!
