The efficient Bosch Performance CX electric drive system (4th generation) gives you a powerful 85 Nm of torque and a top speed of almost 25 km/h. The most powerful motor from Bosch is perfectly integrated. The THRON² drive unit is extremely well balanced. In eMTB mode, the motor optimally adjusts the support to your performance. The new 750 Wh battery (intelligent system) gives you endless off-road fun. The battery is integrated in the downtube but can be extracted for charging.
Optimized kinematics for powerful progression
With the further development of our famous FOLD kinematics, you can now have even more fun in your adventures with the THRON² 6.8. We have retained the popular focus of the FOLD but changed the position of the frame in the kinematics to provide the best puncture resistance. The characteristic curve is completely progressive, ensuring an ultra-stable shape, so you feel safe in any position. Especially E-MTBs, which have the added weight due to the motor and battery, benefit from greater progression. This feature allows you to easily master any other, while the structure still provides you with enough comfort for jumping. In addition, the lower standover gives you more freedom when using the THRON² 6.8 on the trail.
Wide range of uses
From cross-country touring in alpine terrain to commuting to bike tours, everything is possible with the THRON². With appropriate modifications, a wide range of equipment can be wholesaled at the designated mounting points – depending on the destination of your E-MTB journey. In addition, the specially developed CIS design ensures a clean look of the cockpit and always ensures perfect shifting and braking. All cables run from the handlebars into the stem and through the headset into the frame. You can also charge your devices via the USB-C charging port on the top tube.
