The Shimano EP8 electric drive system is not only powerful, but also lightweight, which is perfectly matched to the flexible geometry of JAM² 7.8. Our specially developed 720 Wh integrated rechargeable battery provides strong power for your long rides. You can also charge your device via the USB-C charging port on the top tube.
Optimized Kinematics:
With the further development of our acclaimed FOLD kinematics, the JAM² 7.8 now has an even more aggressive ride. We kept the FOLD’s popular position and changed the positioning of the kinematics in the frame to provide even better fatigue resistance. The characteristic curve is fully progressive, ensuring superb stability even in the jungle position. E-MTBs in particular benefit from a greater progression, due to the increased weight of the motor and battery. This feature allows you to easily master any trail, while the frame remains stationary, giving you enough comfort for long trail rides. In addition, the emphasis on cross-advanced design gives you greater freedom on the trail, giving your JAM² 7.8 even more freedom of movement.

Ride functionality is our mission. With JAM² 7.8, every ride is more fun. Agile and maneuverable geometry with a slim and compact design lets you fly over all trails, whether they are technical or slick. With the FLIP CHIP on the JAM² 7.8 linkage, you can adjust the geometry to suit your aggressive riding style. Starting from 65.5° up to 65°, the head tube angle can be varied to give you more downhill potential. In addition, the specially developed CIS design ensures a clean look of the cockpit and always ensures perfect shifting and braking. All cables run from the handlebars into the stem and through the headset into the frame. In addition, all essential parts are mounted in the accessory bag between the top tube and down tube.
